Chelsea want to get rid of strikers Romelu Lukaku and Armando Broja this summer and are happy to accept cut-price transfer fees in order to see them leave the club.

Neither forward is seen to have a future at Stamford Bridge, with Broja failing to breakthrough into the first team on a regular basis over the last two seasons and Lukaku still involved in his bizarre second stint with the club.

The Belgian signed for the Blues in the summer of 2021 for a monstrous fee of £97.5m from Inter Milan but it has proved disastrous for the London club since then.

Lukaku scored eight Premier League goals in his first season back with Chelsea, after leaving in 2014, but after falling out with management, spent the last two seasons on loan at Inter and Roma.

The 31-year-old still has two years to run on the contract he signed in 2021 but Chelsea know they are not going to recoup anything like the money they spent on him, requesting any interested party meets the £38m release clause in his contract.

Lukaku scored 21 goals on his season-long loan at Roma and has been linked with a move to Napoli, where his former Inter boss Antonio Conte is set to take over.

Whether the 2023 Serie A champions will be able to rustle up £38m for Lukaku is yet to be seen, while Saudi Arabia will also be a realistic option for Chelsea to find a bidder for him.

As recently as January, Chelsea were asking for around £50m for Broja, but that price has now fallen to around £25m after a nightmare loan stint at Fulham.

The Albania international made the short trip across west London in January but completely failed to make an impact, making just eight appearances and scoring no goals.

He is back at Stamford Bridge but is available for transfer, with bids of around £25m likely to be accepted for the 22-year-old.

Monaco are interested in signing Broja, according to the BBC, with further interest in him across Europe, although a Premier League future appears unlikely.
