Chelsea star Raheem Sterling is reportedly ready to turn down the potential of a huge offer to move to a club in Saudi Arabia.
The England international has had a fine career in the Premier League and it makes sense that, as he approaches his 30th birthday, there might be some interest from the Saudi Pro League in tempting him over with one final big pay cheque.
Still, it seems Sterling is not currently interested in that kind of move, according to a report from talkSPORT, who claim that the 29-year-old remains fully committed to this Chelsea project.
Sterling is one of the more experienced members of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, and he could still have an important role to play in helping them get back to where they want to be.
Chelsea signed Sterling from Manchester City last season and he’s performed well at Stamford Bridge, so fans will no doubt be relieved by the news that he wants to stay.

Having enjoyed so much success during his time at Man City, Sterling could have plenty of experience and winning know-how to offer to this mostly youthful Chelsea squad.
Sterling won Premier League titles and other major honours in his time at the Etihad Stadium, so he could be a useful leader in this group, which is currently struggling to hit the usual high standards that the west London club have set for themselves.

While the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Mykhaylo Mudryk may well end up having great futures in the game, for now they are not delivering on the pitch and Sterling has been someone leading by example.
The money in Saudi Arabia has tempted big names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar over there, but it seems Sterling is not finished at this level just yet.
