Brentford have agreed a deal to sign Antonio Nusa – a target for Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal – for £25million.

Nusa is regarded as one of Europe’s most highly-rated youngsters, with the three major London clubs set to battle for his signature.
Chelsea had come very close to signing him on last summer’s deadline day but the 18-year-old opted to stay at Club Brugge where he would be guaranteed more game time.
That decision has paid off, with the winger making 28 appearances this season for the Belgian side, scoring four and assisting three.
Chelsea retained their interest, while Arsenal also began to monitor Nusa’s situation, hoping that captain Martin Odegaard could convince his fellow Norwegian to move to the Emirates.
Though young, Nusa already has four caps and one goal for Norway’s senior side.
Tottenham then appeared to come out of nowhere, opening talks with Brugge over a deal and seemingly winning the race for the player.
But while Nusa is heading to the capital, his final destination is Brentford, after they agreed a fee in excess of €30m (£25.6m) according to Fabrizio Romano.
Once the deal is complete, the forward will head back to Brugge on loan for the rest of the season, an arrangement the player is very happy with.
He will become the Bees’ fourth signing of this transfer window, with their January business notably including left-back Sergio Reguilon who has joined on loan from Spurs after his stay at Manchester United was cut short.
Chelsea and Arsenal’s main focus this window remains signing a prolific centre-forward, with Newcastle’s Callum Wilson linked with both clubs.
As for Tottenham, while disappointing to miss out on Nusa, they did sign another forward in the form of Timo Werner who is on loan from RB Leipzig.
