Chelsea are reportedly not planning on letting Estevao Willian go out on loan once he finally joins the Blues from Palmeiras next summer.
The Brazilian youngster, widely regarded as the biggest up-and-coming talents in world football, will be on his way to Stamford Bridge next year, and it seems clear he’s already viewed as someone who can go straight into Enzo Maresca’s first-team.
According to Give Me Sport, there is no plan to loan Estevao out, and Chelsea already seem to have decided what position he’ll play once he joins.
The report states that Estevao requested the chance to play in his preferred number 10 role for Chelsea, and it seems they’re happy to do so, even though he’s also viewed as someone who can operate out wide and compete with Cole Palmer in that area of the pitch.

As per Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing column, Chelsea are excited about the Estevao deal and hugely optimistic about the calibre of player they’ve signed.
“Chelsea reached an agreement months ago to sign Estevao Willian, and they really believe internally that they’ve signed a future star. He’s not just an ordinary player, or even a very good player with very good potential, Chelsea believe he’s something really special,” Romano said.

“This is why Chelsea invested important money in Estevao, who keeps on scoring and assisting for Palmeiras. This is good news for Chelsea ahead of his arrival, but it’s also good news for Palmeiras because they’re making money from it as part of their deal with Chelsea.
“Chelsea are happy to see Estevao playing well and developing, and now they wait to see him in London in 2025. They keep watching him and waiting for him, and they are very happy with the potential he’s showing, as well as his attitude.”
