Manchester United announced the exciting youth signing of Chido Obi-Martin but fans have had to wait to see the forward in action.
Until now.
Reports from The Secret Scout, a reliable source for youth team news, Obi-Martin is set to make his first appearance for United’s U18s today.
The 16-year-old, who is set to make his first appearance for the club recently left Arsenal, even though the Gunners wanted him to stay.
Obi-Martin had to wait a bit longer for his deal to be ratified by the Premier League, which meant he had to train on his on for a considerable amount of time. Now he’s training with United’s youth team and involved with the U18s.
Obi-Martin is a sign INEOS prioritise youth development

To get Obi-Martin to United was arguably the biggest proof of INEOS’ recruitment strategy paying dividends alongside Leny Yoro, who we’ve yet to see play a competitive game for the first team due to a metatarsal injury.
While Yoro’s transfer shocked Real Madrid, Obi-Martin’s move to United sent shockwaves through English football in the youth team circles.
Hopefully, it’s a sign of things to come and he goes on to have a good career at United. That would rub the salt into Arsenal’s wounds.
It would be fantastic to see him make his debut against Sunderland today also.
