Karimnagar: High Court Chief Justice Aloka Aradhe emphasized the need to reduce the number of pending cases in courts. He made this statement during a ceremony where the foundation stone was laid for new District Court complexes in Karimnagar. These new complexes will include 12 courts, such as the POSCO Court and Family Court, and will also feature residential buildings for magistrates on Sitarampur Road.

During the event, District Collector Pamela Satpathy and Karimnagar District Principal Judge B Pratima welcomed the Chief Justice and other judges. A Bhoomi Puja was performed at the construction site, and a plaque was unveiled to mark the occasion.

Chief Justice Aradhe noted that the Karimnagar court building was originally inaugurated in 1956. He also mentioned that the stone for the new High Court building will come from the Karimnagar district itself.

He further stressed the importance of using modern technology to reduce the backlog of pending cases. According to the Chief Justice, the new Karimnagar Court building is expected to be ready in 18 months. Former High Court Judge Justice P Naveen Rao, who contributed to the building project, was honored during the event.
