Fans had mixed reactions about Chris Brown’s new selfie with singer Kehlani after he previously said they attempted suicide for “sympathy.”

On Sunday, the “Look at Me Now” artist posted a new picture of himself with the “After Hours” songstress — who uses she/they pronouns — on his Instagram Story.

“Twin ❤️ @kehlani,” he wrote atop the snap, which showed him sticking out his tongue as they cozied up next to him with eyes closed.

Fans were torn about the new photo because of past comments Brown, 35, made about Kehlani, 29, after they tried to commit suicide when rumors surfaced in 2016 that they cheated on NBA star Kyrie Irving with musician PartyNextDoor.

“Kehlani went out of their way to remove Tory Lanez off a song after the incident with Megan, but now they all cozied up to Cocaine Fisticuffs Brown?” tweeted one user.

“Kehlani hanging out with Chris brown genuinely feels like the biggest f–king slap to the face,” added another.

“kehlani spends so much time talking about advocating for human and womens rights to go be playing house with chris brown is sooooooo…… wake up to yourself what the fk,” a third person wrote.

However, others were excited to see that two were amicable.

“Okay y’all on this level I need a song you already know this was coming just to see the growth we been waiting for this for years I love it @Kehlani @chrisbrown #Chrilani,” said one supporter.

“apparently chris brown is the ONLY person in the world who is not allowed to change. he definitely reached out to kehlani and apologized for what he said in the past and they are cool now. period,” added another.

“Kehlani supports Chris on a regular basis so idek why that picture got y’all upset lmaooo like there’s tons of videos of her talking about/ singing his music so y’all gon have to get over it,” wrote a third person.

After Kehlani posted and deleted an image from the hospital with an IV in their arm in 2016, Brown took to X to criticize their actions.

“There is no attempting suicide,” the “Residuals” singer tweeted at that time. “Stop flexing for the gram. Doing s–t for sympathy so them comments under your pics don’t look so bad.”

Brown then showed his support for Irving, 32, who was allegedly dating Kehlani when PartyNextDoor posted a picture of himself seemingly in bed with the “Distraction” singer.

“I’ll be the BIGGEST PIECE OF 💩. But ima ride for my Homies regardless. KYRIE is probably one of the only good guys left. IDGAF!!!” he added.

Brown has faced public scrutiny since he assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

He has continued to face legal issues for violent acts, including the most recent complaint in which the Grammy winner was accused of allegedly assaulting four concertgoers at his “11:11” tour stop in Fort Worth, Texas, last month.
