Christie Brinkley is aging naturally and proud of it.
In a recent interview with People published Wednesday, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model said although she’s tried Botox twice, she’s happier letting herself age gracefully and “just letting it be.”
“I want to accept certain wrinkles. That’s the way I’m approaching aging,” she further explained.
“Sometimes when people get older, and they overdo it, they can look waxy and — I don’t know what the word is — preserved or something. I want a little life to show on my face, you know?”
She did say, however, that she still receives bi-annual resurfacing Fraxel treatments to help with sun damage she’s sustained over the years.

Earlier this month, she shared a swimsuit photo from a trip to Turks and Caicos, proving confidence comes at any age. Christie Brinkley/InstagramThe model, who is getting ready to launch her new lifestyle and apparel brand TWRHLL, proved earlier this month that age is just a number by showing off her long legs as she splashed around in the clear water of Turks & Caicos.
In the fun photo she shared, she rocked a white swimsuit and lounged in the shallow water while lifting her legs in the air as she beamed at the camera.
She shared similarly effortless snaps during a trip to the picturesque vacation spot in 2022. That time, she looked incredible in a blue bikini and posed on a cabana decorated with driftwood.
