Christopher Daniels explains what his interim Executive Vice President role currently entails.

All Elite Wrestling‘s Christopher Daniels was the latest guest on Close Up with Renee Paquette. When asked what his status as interim EVP means and how much pull he actually has, Daniels said it basically comes down to him relaying decisions Tony Khan makes without the risk of being attacked.

“Honestly, I think it means that I take a better beating than Tony Khan. That really is the long and short of it,” Christopher Daniels admitted. “He came back from a neck injury pretty quick, but yeah, I think all it means is that when decisions need to be made, and Tony doesn’t want to go out and possibly risk being attacked by other EVPs, it’s time for CD to take a roll. So here I am.”
