Christopher Daniels has named three matches that fans most remember him for in his career.
The AEW star reportedly hung up his boots after his last match. Daniels lost a brutal Texas Deathmatch against “Hangman” Adam Page on AEW Collision. This put an end to a career that has spanned over thirty years.
Christopher Daniels recently spoke with Copper Age Gold and was asked which matches people most remember him by. He named the match with Samoa Joe and AJ Styles at TNA Unbreakable 2005 as the one fans most mention. However, he added a match with Low Ki and Bryan Danielson, as well as his ROH title win over Adam Cole as other key matches from his career.
“I was talking about this at one of the panels today. It’s almost 20 years old now. But the three-way match with AJ Styles and Samoa Joe is by far one of the most talked-about matches that people come up to me and mention in my career — head and shoulders above everything else. That’s the match people talk about when they come to see me.”
“To be remembered for a match like that with two guys like Joe and AJ — who are two of the greatest wrestlers to ever walk the planet — is a big deal to me.But I feel like people also remember the three-way match with Bryan Danielson and Low Ki at the very first Ring of Honor show, as well as winning the world title from Adam Cole in 2017.”
“Those are some of the moments that I feel people remember and connect with.”
