CJ Perry teases potentially returning to WWE.
Perry previously had a lengthy run in WWE as Lana. She signed with the company in 2013 and became the manager for Rusev. They were paired together for the next few years, and they later split up. Perry and Rusev went on to reunite, and she also started competing in the ring. Perry remained with WWE after Rusev left the company, but she was released in June 2021. She had a brief run in AEW, but she confirmed that she was no longer with the company in July 2024.
In a post on Instagram, CJ Perry asked fans whether Lana should return to WWE on Netflix.
CJ Perry On Liv Morgan
Perry is close friends with WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. In a recent interview with with Jordan Mendoza for USA TODAY, she spoke highly of Morgan’s current run.
“She’s in the perfect casting. She’s an incredible worker, she’s an incredible athlete,” CJ Perry said. “At the end of the day, professional wrestling is scripted television, where we want to believe what you’re doing is real, and she’s the hot girl. We love her. Those are exciting stories to tell on television.”
