Wrestling superstars CJ Perry and Miro are splitting up, with TMZ reporting that the pair broke late last year.
According to TMZ’s report, the pair had an “on-again, off-again” relationship for a bit, but ultimately decided to go on their separate ways in the winter of 2023. Perry confirmed the news in a statement to TMZ, saying the couple has decided to “move on as friends.”
“Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together, and have decided to move on as friends, and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road,” Perry said.
The pair originally married in 2016, and have appeared together on-screen in All Elite Wrestling since Perry first arrived at the company last year. However, Miro hasn’t wrestled since AEW Worlds End, and Perry was hospitalized with an infection in December, putting her in-ring action on hold as well.
Prior to their involvement in All Elite Wrestling, the pair were known as Rusev and Lana in WWE, and were often seen together.
