While some of them are more than talented enough to be remembered for a variety of things, one part stands out above the rest. WWE has recently announced the return of one of the most important shows in its history and now they are going to be bringing back one of the show’s signature voices.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning to have Jesse Ventura appear on the upcoming revival of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ventura is not expected to do commentary throughout the show, but is expected to be there in some sort of a nostalgia role. Ventura, the longtime voice of the original series, recently signed a Legends deal with the company. Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to return on December 14.

Opinion: This is something that WWE almost had to do if it was an option. Ventura was one of the most important parts of the original Saturday Night’s Main Event and if WWE can have him for the revival, they would be crazy not to. Ventura is one of those people who helped the show and there is something great about having him back to tie things together, even if it is in a small role.
