It looks like nothing at all has changed with Newcastle United away tickets.

The club determined to continue their draconian approach.

In information sent to those season ticket holders traveling to Hull City on Saturday, the club confirming the approach to Newcastle United away tickets remains the same.

The club stating that every Newcastle United fan must face the potential consequences if they fail to carry photo ID to the match and then find they have been handed a dud ticket.

The club doing this to then force a number of Newcastle away fans each match to then have to pick up a duplicate (working ticket) to allow access and avoid sanctions, if they can’t prove who they are, in terms of having been the season ticket holder who bought the ticket.

The club having said sanctions will range from losing loyalty points right through to even taking the season ticket away.

Earlier this year the club surveyed season ticket holders asking their thoughts on the current draconian system on Newcastle United away tickets and whether changes were needed.

Quite clearly no changes whatsoever made, at least not yet…

Club email on Newcastle United away tickets sent to fans going to Hull City match on Saturday 27 July 2024:

‘Key matchday information for fans travelling to Hull for our first pre-season fixture on Saturday.
