CM Punk returned to WWE after ten long years last November in a sight wrestling fans never thought they would see. But the infamous ‘Never Say Never’ lived up to its reputation and Punk and WWE eventually made their reconciliation bridge together.

However, The Best in the World missed an important cut due to that timeline as WWE’s latest video game, WWE 2K24 had probably been approaching its finalization stage and is now set to drop in the market in March 2024 for various platforms.

Punk took to his Instagram stories to subtly acknowledge his absence from the video game installment, which once had The Voice of the Voiceless as the cover star back in 2012.

“Doom looking at the @wwegames roster and not seeing @cmpunk.”

CM Punk was lastly a part of the WWE 2K15 video game in the series, where his epic and monumental rivalry with John Cena was a part of the 2K Showcase mode.

Apart from that, Punk is currently on the sidelines due to triceps injury suffered at the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 event at the hands of Drew McIntyre. While he continues to rehab his injury, it looks to be a strong possibility that CM Punk will make his return as a playable character in the next WWE 2K game.

Do you think CM Punk would be a part of the WWE 2K25 roster? Sound off in the comments!
