CM Punk did some other things in Toronto, other than making Drew McIntyre’s life hell.

The former WWE Champion has been embroiled in a feud with McIntyre since before WrestleMania 40. He has done all he can to upset the Scot, including costing him the World Heavyweight Championship three times.

Punk attacked McIntyre at WrestleMania 40, allowing Damian Priest to cash in the Money in the Bank contract on him. He interfered in McIntyre’s title matches against Priest at the last two events, including thwarting his Money in the Bank cash in on Saturday.

However, his time in Toronto was spent meeting friends, family and even Arnold Schwarzenegger.

CM Punk posted a series of photos on his Instagram account following Money in the Bank 2024. The first of these showed him posing next to Arnold Schwarzenegger. It seemed to be a chance meeting between a current and future WWE Hall of Famer in Toronto.

Punk was of course in town for Money In The Bank, while Schwarzenegger has been in town filming the second season of FUBAR for Netflix.

The former WWE and AEW Champion added the caption, “Toronto photo dump. Friends and family edition. Get your ass to mars”.

That last line, of course, is a quote from Schwarzenegger when he played Douglas Quaid in the 1990 film Total Recall… or was it Carl Hauser?

He also posted photos of himself with John Cena and former WWE star Santino Marella in Toronto before and after the event.

CM Punk: AJ Lee Return Is ‘All On Her’

CM Punk doesn’t want to give anyone hope about an AJ Lee return to wrestling.

Speaking at the WWE Money in the Bank Post-Show, CM Punk was asked to comment on whether AJ Lee would ever return.

“Hmmm…I appreciate the question,” CM Punk said. “You would have to ask my wife, but she’s not here. She’s taking care of Larry. I don’t want to fall in the trap of saying, ‘Never say never.’ I don’t want to give people false hope. But I also will not put words in her mouth and say, ‘I think this could happen.’ I think this is a brave new world. And I don’t think a lot of people thought I was gonna show up. It’s really all on her.”
