CM Punk is gearing up for another return to the ring just in time for the kickoff to WrestleMania season.
WWE Superstar CM Punk recently spoke to Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon. When asked if he has any expectations for the next year, Punk said he feels fortunate due to his injury that he gets to have another comeback on the road to WrestleMania 41.
“I think we pick up where we left off,” CM Punk said. “The tricep injury really threw a monkey wrench into everything, plans for WrestleMania, plans I had for myself, plans I had for other people, if you know what I mean.
“So to me, I’m really fortunate, I get to relive the past year. I get to have another comeback, another return. I get to have another road to Wrestlemania. And I think for me, what’s left in my career to do so right now, everything’s just frosting on top of a pretty badass cake. I’m here to enjoy the ride, honestly, riding the wave.”
