One of the most popular WWE Superstars is the self-proclaimed Best in the World CM Punk. Even when Punk left WWE the fans were chanting his name in every arena. Last year at the Survivor Series WarGames Premium Live Event in Chicago, Illinois, the Second City Saint made a shocking return. It has almost been a year since Punk’s return. Recently, he reflected on how the past year has been for him.

While speaking to Pete Rosenberg on his Rosenberg Wrestling YouTube channel, CM Punk mentioned that apart from his Tricep injury at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, he has had a great time. The Second City Saint mentioned that this has been the best run so far in his entire career. Punk also mentioned that he would rather see the fans and the authorities grade his run than him.

“I mean aside from the whole tricep injury and the surgery you know… we really turned chicken s**t into chicken salad with that one. That [was] almost a little bit of a gift. I think people forget that I was hurt because I was such a focal point. Just doing what we do. Entertaining people. I don’t want to grade myself. I leave that to the fans and my peers, the people I work for. They can go ahead and grade it. I’ve had the time of my life though, coming back. I weigh this past year up against any year of my entire career,” CM Punk said.

Punk is currently off TV. His last match was against Drew McIntyre inside a Hell in a Cell back in October.
