CM Punk marked his televised in-ring return after a decade at the Royal Rumble a few days ago, with a strong determination to secure a spot at WrestleMania. However, not only did he fail to win the bout, but he also suffered an injury in the process. Punk confirmed he’ll miss WrestleMania 40 on RAW this week and his promo went viral in a big way on YouTube.

As previously reported, CM Punk suffered triceps injury during the Royal Rumble match, which put his status for WrestleMania 40 under question. Fans still hoped things would turn out well for him somehow.

Regrettably, CM Punk confirmed on Monday Night RAW that he suffered a legitimate injury and as a result, he won’t be headlining WrestleMania 40. Unsurprisingly, CM Punk’s promo on YouTube ended up crossing 1 million views. At the time of writing, it has 1,085,543 views.

In comparison, the runner-up video concerning Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins’ promo only has 516,000 views, which is half of CM Punk’s. This goes to show just how big a star CM Punk truly is.

Drew McIntyre also brutally trolled CM Punk after decimating him on RAW. We will have to wait and see when The Second City Saint will make his triumphant return to WWE television, as fans will undoubtedly miss him till then.
