CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event last year has been one of WWE’s best decisions according to fans, as he is clearly happy to be back. He also made an appearance on NXT this week and he even went above and beyond for fans after the show.
CM Punk already showed up during the September 17th edition of NXT this week, and he got involved in the NXT Women’s Title match. Afterwards, it was confirmed that he will be the special guest referee for the NXT Title match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams in Chicago during the debut episode of NXT on the CW Network.
A fan in attendance for the show took to Reddit and uploaded a photo of CM Punk going above and beyond for fans after NXT went off the air. CM Punk stayed in the Performance Center for two loops and took photos with many fans in attendance.
The Second City Saint has been on a remarkable run since his epic WWE comeback last year so we will have to wait and see how he will fare as the special guest referee for the NXT Championship match next month.
