The Country Music Association has announced the nominees for the 2024 CMA Awards! The 58th Annual CMA Awards broadcasts live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday, November 20 starting 8 p.m. ET on ABC and next day on Hulu. The nominees were determined by eligible voting CMA members comprised of professionals within the country music industry. Morgan Wallen leads with seven nominations, while other top nominees include Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with five nominations, and Post Malone and Lainey Wilson with four nominations each. Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, which made history after it spent four weeks on top of Billboard’s Top country albums chart, making her the first Black woman to achieve the feat, has been notably shut out of the ceremony’s nominations, despite qualifying for categories like single of the year, song of the year, album of the year, female vocalist of the year and music event of the year. Winners will be determined in a final round of voting by eligible voting CMA members. Tickets for the awards ceremony go on-sale Friday, September 13 through Ticketmaster.
