SPOILERS: The following story reveals major plot points from Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2.

Hayden Schlossberg (Cobra Kai) is making his acting debut in Netflix‘s Cobra Kai in Season 6, Part 2.

He portrays the character of Ezra, Terry Silver’s (Thomas Ian Griffith) flashy lawyer. Yes, Terry Silver is back! Ezra and Terry first appear in episode 9 titled, “Blood In Blood Out.”

Schlossberg and his two best friends and collaborators Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald co-created Cobra Kai as a love letter to their favorite movie franchise, The Karate Kid. While the trio is already deeply embedded in the legacy of the Miyagi-verse, Schlossberg can also tout his contributions extend to the screen.

“I didn’t necessarily [always want to be] in the series, but I’ve always liked the idea of acting,” Schlossberg shared with Deadline during a recent Zoom with the Counterbalance Entertainment trio.

“But I’m not an actor who wants to pursue that unless it’s the right type of thing. And when it comes to being Terry Silver’s lawyer, that felt like the type of role that’s in my wheelhouse. And ever since Season 5, we talked about him getting arrested. I just imagined what Terry Silver’s legal team is like and knew I wanted to be a part of it,” he added.

Hurwitz and Heald ribbed their buddy a bit about becoming a big star after this, and Schlossberg affirmed he’s still the same guy he always has been. The trio remained mum regarding whether Hurwitz and Heald could pop up in a scene or two of the show’s final episodes. Deadline confirmed exclusively that there are still plenty of surprises ahead.

Cobra Kai takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament from The Karate Kid continuing the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).

In Part 2 of the sixth and final season, at the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions — can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?

Netflix dropped a new batch of 5 episodes of Cobra Kai with the final piece of the puzzle premiering early next year.
