Cody Rhodes wants to get payback on Kevin Owens, but Nick Aldis says the matter needs to be handled internally.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came to the ring on the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown. He called out Kevin Owens, but SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came out instead. He explained that Owens crossed the line by hitting Randy Orton with a piledriver the previous week, and until they figured it out, he could not have Owens there.

Rhodes said that Aldis was giving Owens exactly what he wanted. Aldis responded by saying that this was about proving that there were rules, and he reiterated that Owens could not be there until the situation was resolved internally. Rhodes appealed to Aldis’ background as a wrestler and asked him to put himself in his shoes. He brought up how much Orton telling him that he was proud of him meant to him. Rhodes said that it was his fault that Orton was on the shelf, and he had to handle business. He threatened to beat Owens in his front yard if he had to.
