Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes discusses how holding the title is like being the president.

Speaking on Good Karma Wrestling, Cody Rhodes was asked about the pressure he faces as the WWE Champion.

“Oh, [laughs]. You ever see where the presidents get really old? You know what I’m saying? Obama looked like 29, and then all of a sudden, he was 45 in the first two years in office or whatever it may be,” Cody Rhodes said. “I will say, that’s the amount of pressure. Again, I had a lifetime to prepare for it. It’s like it was all new. I think my favorite part of it is now I have like a, gosh, we’re talking presidential, but I have like a cabin of people who help me with everything. That is just, I’m really blessed. I was telling WWE President Nick Khan that the other day.

“I am so blessed,” Cody Rhodes continued. “Someone to help me with socials, someone to write my calendar, someone just to have these conversations every Friday night SmackDown about, where the WWE Champion needs to be, what we need to do next, what shows we’re going to, and they’ve really kind of molded that into how I would do it. So it’s an incredible amount of pressure, my gosh. I hope I don’t age to the degree that you see those dudes age, but it’s pressure I wanted.”
