Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes speaks highly of NXT.

NXT has gained a lot of momentum over the last year or so. It began a new era with its move to the CW Network earlier in NXT. In recent months, several main roster stars have crossed over to NXT.

Speaking on ARC Las Vegas, Cody Rhodes was asked to share his thoughts on NXT.

“NXT, particularly with Baldo [Matt Bloom] and Shawn Michaels, who runs NXT creative for us, as a talent in the current main roster, as we might say, NXT can be kind of intimidating,” Cody Rhodes said. “Because it’s not really a developmental anymore. It’s almost a grooming ground for these monsters who are gonna come up and eventually stand across the ring from you, and they’ve been trained by Shawn Michaels.

“So we’re definitely preparing the next generation of superstars and wrestlers. In their run on the CW, I’ve been blown away. Really special stuff.”

NXT will present Halloween Havoc on October 27.
