Cody Rhodes learned a valuable lesson from All Elite Wrestling EVPS Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.

The American Nightmare recently sat down with Chris Vannini of the Athletic. When asked if he learned anything during his time away from WWE with the Young Bucks, Rhodes said the biggest thing he learned is that as much as you can love and obsess over the business, you also need to have fun.

“The biggest thing I learned from Matt and Nick (Jackson) was you can love this and be obsessed with it and want it, but you’ve got to have fun,” Cody Rhodes said. “I’d think we have something good on paper, and Nick would say, ‘What if we keep going?’ They’d keep stirring the pot and creating magic.”

Despite rumors to the contrary, Rhodes is still friends with Matthew and Nicholas to this day. It wouldn’t surprise us to learn that they’ll be tuning into WrestleMania XL to watch their friend finish his story.
