WWE’s 2024 SummerSlam event ended in a Bloodline Rules match for the Undisputed WWE Title. In the end, Cody Rhodes won over Solo Sikoa, but he has the Original Tribal Chief to thank for that.

After Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam, it seems that his target is on Solo Sikoa. He did not harm a hair on Cody’s head after all, but the American Nightmare is a fighting champion. He knows that Roman Reigns did a lot with the Undisputed Title, and he also realizes that the Head of the Table should get his rematch.

During the press conference after SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes remarked that the Bloodline Rules match is his gimmick match at this point, since he has won both of them that have been put on so far. Then he directed his attention to Roman Reigns as he admitted that a rematch between the two must happen.

“Roman Reigns, certainly, he’s entitled to a rematch, because he held the title for so long. That match, it has to happen.”

Cody Rhodes went on to praise the rest of the Bloodline for having incredible talent. He also highlighted that Jacob Fatu has something special as well. In the end, Cody does not seem like he is shying away from having another match against Roman Reigns.

We will have to see how WWE books the stories from this point on. SummerSlam told an incredible tale from beginning to end, and it all capped off with Roman Reigns returning as the Original Tribal Chief. That was not the best moment for Solo Sikoa, and it may also mark the beginning of a new story for Cody Rhodes as well.
