Cody Rhodes is truly a man of the people and there is no doubt that he resonates with fans in a way that no one else in WWE can. This couldn’t be more clear after Rhodes went above and beyond for a fan who was denied a WWE prize for over a decade.
The American Nightmare is certainly one of WWE’s prominent babyfaces, consistently drawing fans of all ages. This is because he has developed a reputation for never failing to go above and beyond fan expectations and lending them a hand if it is within his power.
As previously reported, a fan disclosed that it had been decade since he won WWE’s Tribute to the Troops Holiday Giveaway, where he was going to be given a Tribute to the Troops dog tag set.
Many people urged Cody Rhodes to do something about it and he really did as he told the fan to check his DMs last month. This week, the fan shared a positive update on his situation, disclosing that Rhodes had sent him a T-shirt, cap, and an ‘American Nightmare’ belt. Danny expressed his excitement upon receiving these gifts, concluding the story, and now looks forward to witnessing Rhodes finish his story at WrestleMania 40.
”How funny it all arrived today…”
”Apparently the Tribute to the Troops dog tags aren’t a thing anymore (SAD!), but Cody still came through.”
”I finished my story, now go finish yours.”
Cody Rhodes agreed to be the Best Man for random fan’s wedding as well. The American Nightmare is truly WWE’s resident good samaritan and for all of his generous actions, fans will continue to love him always.
