Cody Rhodes teases making an appearance on WWE NXT.
In a tweet, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on the NXT Championship match between Trick Williams and Ethan Page at NXT Battleground. He wondered how Page would do against Williams. (Page went on to lose.) Rhodes also said that he was thinking of “dashing” down to Florida this week with a gift and to see some old friends.
The broadcast team later highlighted Rhodes’ tweet during NXT Battleground.
Rhodes previously appeared on the star-studded October 10, 2023, episode of NXT.
“The American Nightmare” already has a big week ahead. At WWE Clash at the Castle, he is set to defend his title against AJ Styles in an “I Quit” match.
