Cody Rhodes has been on the receiving end of a major push since his return to the WWE at WrestleMania 38. He went on to win the Royal Rumble and then challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 39.
During this time, WWE released a documentary on Cody Rhodes called “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes”. However, this documentary left fans wanting more as Cody didn’t finish his story.
Fast forward several months and Cody has another chance to finish his story and win the World Title. Hence, Rhodes wants to do part two of his documentary but this time with a happy ending.
Speaking to Raj Prashad of Uproxx, Cody stated that he has expressed interest in doing part two of the documentary to Nick Khan.
“I’d like to see a Part 2 to the documentary. I have expressed that to Nick Kahn. I know he’s got big documentaries and other stuff on the table that are happening, especially with the Netflix deal and all that. I’d like to see a Part 2 only because of how sour the finish of Part 1 is. It’s real life. It is what it is. But I’d like people to know that if they believed, hopefully it was for a good reason.”
Cody Rhodes is set to make an appearance on the 2/2 episode of WWE SmackDown. He has not revealed his plans for the show but given that Roman Reigns will also be on SmackDown, fans can expect face-off. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you live coverage of WWE SmackDown.
