Before he became a beloved fitness personality as a Peloton trainer, Cody Rigsby was actually a backup dancer for several stars! The 37-year-old entertainer is opening up about life as a dancer and how working for Jennifer Lopez led to him deciding to quit the industry. During an ADWEEK House discussion with PrideNOW’s Mark Pasetsky, Cody talked about why he left the dance world behind. Keep reading to find out more… “I had to leave the dance world because I was kind of having one foot in, one foot out,” Cody said. “I purposely left the job with JLo because it was kind of one of those points where I was like, I would love to dance for JLo, but this team is treating me like sh-t, so I’m gonna choose myself. Sorry, JLo, I’m choosing me.” Cody, who placed in third during his season of Dancing With the Stars, was also asked about the controversial casting of Anna Delvey this year. “I loved that casting. I always love when a reality show has a villain. Let us not like someone for a few episodes. And she did deliver an iconic exit line,” he said.
