30 Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma is confident his side will put up a better showing against Germany in their second group game at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The West Africans will take on the Germans at the the Estadio El Techo, Bogota on Wednesday night.
“The team performed well [in the first match against Korea Republic], but I know we’re going to perform much, much better than this,” he told FIFA.com.

This will be the fifth meeting between Nigeria and Germany at this level.
The Falconets are yet to record a win against the former champions.
The Germans defeated Nigeria in the final in 2010 and 2014.
