There aren’t many of them. The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as there are suddenly several more spots open for wrestlers to go. Those stars are the ones who get to see what they can do elsewhere and it makes for an interesting move when someone becomes available. That is what we are seeing again as a prominent star is now on the market.

According to Fightful Select by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Mike Bailey’s TNA contract expired on November 1, making him a free agent. He has also been removed from the TNA roster page. As a result, Bailey would be free to sign anywhere he likes. There is no word on when or where Bailey might want to sign, though he was backstage visiting friends at AEW earlier this year. Bailey lost the TNA X-Division Title to Moose last week on Impact Wrestling.

Opinion: Bailey is someone who is going to be on the short list for a few different promotions, including AEW. It would not surprise me in the slightest to see him show up in the company, as he is one of the bigger free agent names available in a long time. There is always the chance that he sticks around in TNA, but there is definitely going to be something of a battle over where he signs.
