Come On Back In: Former WWE Superstar Announces New Deal With The Company

He’s back. There have been almost countless wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and it takes someone special to really make an impact. Those are the stars who are going to be remembered for a good while to come, though those names can be few and far between. Every so often, a wrestler will be brought back into the fold for WWE and it can be a rather special moment. Now we are seeing that happen again

During this weekend’s ACW Wisconsin independent event, former WWE star Swoggle, known as Hornswoggle during his time in WWE, announced that he has signed a Legends deal with WWE. There is nothing to suggest that Swoggle will be making another appearance on WWE TV. Swoggle is the latest name to sign such a deal, following Diamond Dallas Page, Jesse Ventura and Ken Shamrock among others.

Opinion: This is one of those moves that is nice for a bit of nostalgia and that is all it needed to be. Hornswoggle is the definition of a fun star from the past who might bring a few smiles to some faces. WWE is not investing a ton in this kind of a deal and they could get a nice bit of a return out of it. This is something WWE has been doing this quite a few times in recent months and it makes for a nice little bonus feature for longtime fans.
