Come On In? Another SmackDown Star Expected To Appear In NXT

Come on down? With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, the company has had no choice but to split them up into different, individual rosters. This includes the two main Monday Night Raw and SmackDown roster, plus the NXT developmental roster. However, occasionally main roster stars will head to NXT for a brief run and we might be seeing that again soon.

According to Fightful by way of Wrestlingnews.co, NXT is hoping to bring SmackDown star Tegan Nox to the show, where she is expected to have a run in the future. There are currently no creative plans for her on the main roster and she has not wrestled a match since April 20. It is not clear when or how Nox would be used in NXT, though there was speculation she could face NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez at Battleground. However, that spot was taken by TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.

Opinion: This is where the WWE roster’s depth becomes so valuable, as the company is able to put wrestlers in so many different places at any time. Nox isn’t doing anything on the main roster so why not send her down to NXT and see what she can do? Some wrestlers have managed to turn their careers around in NXT and maybe Nox can be added to that list.
