That’s how you do it. There are all kinds of things that go into making a wrestler a star but one of the most important is getting the in the ring. While their in-ring work do not have to be seen as the highest quality, it isn’t going to make much of a difference if they never have a match. That can be a great way to introduce someone and that might be what we are seeing in the near future.

Earlier this month, reports began to surface that former TNA Wrestling star Mike Bailey wa son his way to AEW, though it was not clear when he would arrive. According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Bailey is expected to debut as part of the 2024 Continental Classic, which will begin in the coming weeks. The Continental Classic is a round robin tournament featuring 12 yet to be named wrestlers. AEW has yet to announce Bailey’s signing.

He’s starting fast. Check out what Bailey is getting into soon:

Opinion: This would be a smart way to bring Bailey in, as he is put right into the middle of everything to start and would get to face a variety of opponents. At the same time, it fits Bailey’s reputation as someone who will wrestle anyone at any time, which could take him a long way in AEW. For now though, just having him in th tournament is a good way to start and I’m curious to see how well it goes.

What do you think of the idea? How will Bailey fare in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
