As a result, we now have another place for wrestlers to sign aside from WWE. It can be a big deal when someone comes into one of the bigger promotions. That appears to be the case again, with one side picking up one of the biggest stars in the world.

According to Fightful Select, AEW has reached an agreement with former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and he is expected to start with the company soon. It should be noted that there is no guarantee that the deal has been signed, though AEW believes Okada will be coming to the promotion. There is no word on when Okada will be signing with AEW, though there is said to have been discussions about creative plans for his debut.
