Photo Courtesy of WWEThat’s where it starts. There have been all kinds of changes taking place in WWE over this year, with some of those changes being set to take place later on. Some of the biggest changes still to come will involve the status of the company’s major weekly shows, all of which will have new homes either this year or early next year. We now know an important detail about one of the shows’ new homes.

Later this year, NXT will be moving from the USA Network to the CW. According to Deadline, the CW has set the debut date for NXT for October 1, with the show running from 8-10pm. This means that the show will be in the same time slot that it has been in for the last several years. There is no word on if the regular overrun which sees the show running an extra four to eight minutes each week will continue.

Opinion: This makes sense, as there is little reason to change what has been working for NXT. It means a lot to see the show move on to a network rather than cable, as WWE is on the way to a different era for its weekly shows. While this might not be the biggest change, it is the kind o change that shows we are in a new era for WWE and so far it has been quite the positive one.
