Come On Over? Shawn Michaels Speaks On Possible NXT vs. TNA Supershow

The big one? There are several wrestling promotions around the world but it is rare to see them work together on a major chow. That can be quite the special moment, as you never know when you are going to see some promotions work with each other. While we have seen some small versions of this in recent months, there is now seemingly the possibility of a major event.

Over the last few months, TNA Wrestling and NXT have worked together in a series of crossover matches with wrestlers from both promotions appearing on either show. During a new interview with the Ringer, NXT executive Shawn Michaels was asked about a potential crossover event between the two promotions. Michaels said that it was “always possible” but said that the two sides were in a long standing relationship. He went on to say that nothing is ever off the table, but they want to “go slower as opposed to faster.” There is no word on if such an event is planned in any way.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that seems like it could be very interesting should it happen and maybe it will. At some point there needs to be some kind of an endgame to this whole crossover story, as otherwise it has been little more than a bunch of one off matches. Seeing the two promotions come together for a big show could be quite the sight to behold and just the idea is intriguing enough.
