Come On Up: Details On Former WWE Superstar Expected To Be Called Back Up In The Draft

Come back up. WWE is in a unique position in the wrestling world as they have so many talented stars that the company has been able to divide its roster into three brands. Those brands will occasionally interact with each other, meaning it is often a big deal when they do so. They will have a chance to make some adjustments this week, and now we know more about one Superstar in particular.

Beginning this coming Friday on SmackDown and ending next week on Monday Night Raw, WWE will hold its annual Draft. According to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, Baron Corbin is expected to be drafted back to the main roster from NXT. Corbin was sent to NXT in the 2023 Draft and went on to win the NXT Tag Team Titles along with Bron Breakker. There had been discussions of bringing the team up to the main roster but it is unclear if that is still the case.

Opinion: Sure why not. This is something that make sense as Corbin has long since established himself as a top star and someone who can hang on the main roster. It would be a waste of what he has figured out to leave him in NXT as he could be a bigger deal on one of the more important shows. It’s nice to see what Corbin can do when he gets the chance and that could be on display again soon.
