Comedian Natasha Leggero finally explained why she took off her shirt during her stand-up set last week.

A paparazzo spotted Leggero departing the Pasadena Playhouse on Sunday night and told her people were “shocked,” to which she cut him off and quipped, “That I have such a huge tits?”

More seriously, Leggero said most comedians “don’t want to” go shirtless, but she decided to send a message to the crowd.

“I was trying to make a point,” she shared.

When pressed by the photographer to explain what exactly the point was, Leggero’s husband, Moshe Kasher, joked, “That she’s not feeling her husband.”

“It’s a bigger story actually,” he added.

Opening act Bert Kreischer performed shirtless at Hollywood Improv last week, and when he introduced Leggero, she also decided to dive into her jokes sans top.

“If the boys can do it, why can’t the girls?” she asked the audience to high praise.

“Holy s—t,” Kreischer, 51, yelled from the crowd, adding that he will have to start taking his pants off during his performances to top Leggero.

“Oh, my God. The f–king best,” he said.

The “Chelsea Lately” alum, 49, then retrieved her jacket as she began her set without alluding to her stunt.

Leggero, who was advised not to post about her shirtless antics online, later shared a series of photos from the event because the images already had leaked to press.

Leggero’s husband, Moshe Kasher, also joked to the paparazzo that the point she was making had to do with their troubled marriage. Getty Images

“Bert took his shirt off so i did too. improv said not to post but tmz already did so f it,” she captioned her post.

“Should female comics be able to do the same things as male comics? Because ive [sic] also been thinking about trying to f–k my opener.”

Leggero followed up her post with a second one showing both Kreischer and her topless onstage with black censor bars over their chests.
