Cesc Fabregas could be evicted from his home. The former FC Barcelona midfielder has reportedly not paid several months’ rent to the owner of his home in Bissone, Switzerland. The Como coach is said to owe around €37,000 in unpaid rent and is now under threat of an “eviction request” filed with the Lugano Court.

According to the Swiss media tio.chCesc Fabregas and his lawyer reportedly tried to contact the owner to pay part of the sum, without success. The complaint was filed in early September and the Spaniard has a few days to return all the documents presenting his defense, otherwise the cantonal police will intervene to apply the eviction procedure.
