COTI, a leading Web3 privacy layer, has announced its cross-chain privacy protocol, offering privacy-on-demand for enterprises, decentralized applications (dApps), and builders across 70 supported chains. This new functionality provides fast and scalable confidentiality for both EVM and non-EVM networks, serving a wide range of DeFi and web3 applications.
COTI’s cross-chain privacy protocol enables developers to access privacy technology directly from their native chains, without changing their underlying tech stack. Powered by Garbled Circuits and developed in collaboration with Soda Labs, COTI’s protocol is engineered to meet enterprise-scale demands with programmable privacy features that allow users to turn privacy on or off as needed.
Shahaf Bar Geffen, COTI CEO, said: “COTI is the only privacy solution currently capable of meeting the performance needs of consumer applications and we’re excited that multiple chains and builder communities can now harness COTI’s privacy features from their native chains.”
One of the biggest barriers to widespread blockchain adoption has been the lack of privacy on open, public chains. Many businesses cannot integrate fully with decentralized technologies because they need to be able to balance transparency and privacy to meet regulatory compliance. COTI’s cross-chain privacy protocol addresses these needs directly.
Earlier this month, COTI’s team successfully completed its first cross-chain transaction, powered by Axelar. Following the successful proof of concept the team will work to fully integrate Axelar’s Amplifier technology to enable cross-chain privacy across all of its 71 connected networks.
