Occasionally something will go wrong in wrestling and someone can get hurt, though the important matte is how severe things are. That is what took place earlier this week during a match that was taped to air later, but things might not have been as bad as expected.

On Wednesday, AEW taped a match for this week’s Rampage featuring Jeff Hardy facing Sammy Guevara. As previously reported, a mistake took place during the match which saw Guevara’s knee smash into Hardy’s face. According to Wrestling Observer Live, the belief in AEW is that Hardy suffered a broken nose but has not suffered a concussion. There is no word on how long Hardy might be out of action, though he did finish the match.
