Could Have Been Worse: Important Detail On Britt Baker’s AEW Dynamite Return

That’s a serious one. There are all kinds of health issues that can plague wrestlers throughout their careers. While you will often hear about the normal run of the mill injuries, you will occasionally hear about things that are far less common but even more serious. That was the case this week and now we know something more about what was a terrible situation that could have been even worse.

This week on AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker made her return to the show and addressed her absence over the last several months. Baker announced that she had suffered a mini stroke, which kept her out of action as she recovered. According to PWInsider.com, Baker’s story was 100% real and she really did deal with such a condition. Baker has said that she has been medically cleared, though it is not clear when she will return to the ring.

Opinion: While it is great that Baker is back and healthy again, there is something absolutely terrifying about anything resembling a stroke. Thankfully everything seems to be ok and now we get to see her returning to the ring. Baker’s story was chilling enough on its own and knowing that it was completely real makes it all the more jarring, as it could have been so much worse.
