CPM Bhadrachalam Town Committee demands halt to coal auction

Badrachalam: A protest was organized by the Bus Stand Nandu pla cards under CPM Bhadrachalam town committee demanding the immediate suspension of coal auction. Party town secretary Gaddam Swamy and members of the secretary group MB Narsareddy spoke out against the decision to award coal wells to private companies through auctions. They criticized the central government for allowing private companies to compete with Singareni company in coal block auctions.

The protesters demanded that the government manage the coal blocks through the Singareni Corporation instead of auctioning them off to private companies. They criticized the central BJP government for favoring corporate interests and denounced the decision to privatize the coal industry through auctions. Both ruling and opposition parties in the state are opposed to this auction.

The protesters called on the people and workers of the country to strongly oppose the privatization of the coal industry. In the protest, various party members and town committee members participated, including Y. Venkata Rama Rao, Sunnam Ganga, N. Leelawathi, D. Seethalakshmi, N. Nagaraju, Jeevanajyoti, G. Lakshmi Kanth, S. Bhupendra, D. Ramakrishna, Radha, and others.
