Portuguea president Alex Bourgeois said he would try to convince the Al-Nassr star, Cristiano Ronaldo, to join the Brazilian club.
The A1 Pauliste Portuguesa team is preparing ambitious operations to attract the best European names to join the club. After trying to sign Radamel Falcao and Nani, the Brazilian team is now preparing a prestigious offer to bring in the Portuguese icon and Al-Nassr star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Addressing CNN, the president of Portuguesa, Alex Bourgeois, said: “Strengthen and save the pride of the Portuguese community here in Brazil, yes, that was exactly that (the attempt to sign Nani). We are late and we will try for 2026, for the Paulistão 2026, to bring in a great Portuguese.
A Brazilian club wants to CR7
“It is the greatest Portuguese of all time, it is the greatest personality in the world today. It would be great, but I imagine how many people offer nothing related to Portugal to Cristiano Ronaldo, right? But it is obvious that it is a great Portuguese and, of course, at some point, we will have to try to speak. ”
He added: ” What we need, and that is part of our strategic plan is to create a bridge between Brazil and Portugal through Portuguesa, whether Portuguesa be this channel. We have already made some progress in this direction. We believe that this will bring many people closer to this community of 25 million inhabitants ”. There are a lot in Portugal, apart from Portuguese football, for which Brazilians go to Portugal, whether for wine, food, religion, beaches, etc. So what we want is to bring it all closer to the closest place here in Brazil to create this bridge. ”
CR7 with Neymar?
The 40-year-old striker is in the last months of his contract with Al-Nassr and is free to negotiate a pre-contract. However, rumors have surfaced according to which Ronaldo could sign a new Baila with the Saudi giants who would allow him to earn 183 million euros per year, which would allow him to become the best paid footballer in the world.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star was not included in the Al-Nassr team traveling to Iran while the club will face Esteghlal in the AFC Champions League. Ronaldo will therefore be back in action on March 7 when his club faces Al-Shabab in the Saudi professional league.
