Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is doing everything he can to lure his former coach Zinedine Zidane to Saudi Arabia.

French coach Zinedine Zidane is more than ever expected to make his return to the football scene. But there is a chance that he will return to service somewhere other than Europe.

Eduaro Inda, head of Spanish media Okdiario, speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed that Al Nassr are interested in Zizou and are looking to replace current coach Luis Castro.

Zidane is starting to get impatient

Inda said: “Al-Nassr, which is Cristiano’s team, has a problem with the coach and Cristiano Ronaldo continues to insist on bringing the second best coach in the history of the European Cup, after (Pep) Guardiola, namely Zidane. He wants him to be his coach there. They have invested a lot of money and have not found the key. He lives in Madrid, travels a lot to France, but they want him in Saudi Arabia.”

Zidane, who is tired of waiting for the position of coach of the Blues to become available, could be tempted by this challenge. At the beginning of the summer, he declared in an interview with Média Carré: “I’m busy in other ways. I miss the daily grind sometimes. Even though the daily grind of being a coach is tough. I took a break that became a big break. But from time to time I miss it.”

Together, Zidane and Ronaldo have won three consecutive Champions League titles. Six years after their separation, the duo could therefore be called upon to work together again.
