Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the reason for his unwavering desire to win. He wants to bring joy to his children.

At thirty-nine, Cristiano Ronaldo remains more competitive than ever. While many players stop much earlier for various reasons, the Portuguese never tires of playing football and the efforts he imposes on himself every day to stay at the top. Exiled in the Saudi Pro League since his hasty departure from Manchester United in December 2022, he remains no less voracious and hungry for success. To push him towards victory, he admitted to using a very special fuel: his family.

In a video posted on his channel YouTube“CR7” confided in his followers about this famous motivation: “When I receive trophies, I always think of my family, especially my children. They still see their dad receiving awards, they see that he still scores goals and plays football. For me it’s incredible. It’s my motivation to continue playing.” A nice tribute to his very close circle, from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Pride of one’s own

With the Saudi championship restarting at the end of August and his Al-Nassr team sitting in fifth place in the standings after four games, Cristiano Ronaldo knows he still has some time to try to fill his trophy cabinet a little more, and also to make his children’s eyes shine even brighter. They have already seen him score three goals with his club. They also thrilled along with the Portuguese fans when the former Real Madrid player scored with the Seleçao during the last gathering.

Always present with Portugal, Ronaldo notably scored his 900th career goal during the match won on September 5 against Croatia (2-1). Enough to be honored by his club Al-Nassr who gave him a personalized jersey. A reward that the Portuguese legend will not have failed to show to his children, just to make them even more proud.
