Speaking at a press conference ahead of their game against FC Barcelona, Crvena Zvezda manager Vladan Milojevic heaped praise on his counterpart Hansi Flick.

Barça have been in brilliant form this season under the German tactician, winning 13 of their 15 matches in all competitions while losing the other two.

Over the past couple of weeks, they have taken down Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and local rivals RCD Espanyol in impressive fashion and are the overwhelming favourites for tomorrow’s game against Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade.

Acknowledging that the Catalans are the most in-form team in Europe at the moment, Milojevic said:

“A team that is the best in Europe is coming to us. We are playing against a team that is at the absolute peak in all phases of the team. Barcelona play inspiringly, vigorously, with a lot of young players, the coach has brought something of his own….”

On if the Catalans have any flaws that could be exploited, he said: Now what are their flaws… it is very difficult for them to have a flaw, we have to focus.

“We will give our all to confront in the best possible way. In front of a full stand, we will try to achieve what we imagined in training.”

Further discussing the form that Barcelona are in, Milojevic praised Flick for how he had managed the team, saying:

“I said that no one expected this Barcelona at such a high level. It’s obvious that the coach, who is phenomenal at every level and has created that synergy in the dressing room, and they’re playing fascinatingly, and their results are at a high level.”

“The match is 90 minutes, we’ll go out, we’ll fight, and it’s up to us to get the maximum, and then we’ll see how it ends,” he added.

On how they can stand a chance to pull off an upset tomorrow, Milojevic said it was important to be perfect in every aspect at all time and not just focus on one or two opponent players.

“We have to be ideal in all phases. These big teams, they are not based on one or two players. You don’t know who the danger can come from, they all take responsibility, they transform quickly,” he remarked.
